HYPNOBIRTHING AT HEATHERWOOD

 All classes are held on the Ascot Birth Centre on the second floor Heatherwood. Enter from the main hospital entrance, turn right and past the coffee shop and come up 2 flights of stairs. You'll need to press the buzzer and wait to be let in. Please DON'T come in via the Ascot Birth Centre side entranceas there is often nobody here to answer the buzzer !

 You may wish to bring some cushions as the chairs aren't all that comfy ! Or you may wish to bring a 'Fitball' to sit on- it is important to get the right size for your height.  I have several in the room to try out. I also have some Miracle balls for purchase in the classroom.

If you are coming to the weekend classes we encourage you to bring along some food to share (buffet party type) it just gives the day a more social feel ! Hot and cold drinks are provided at all classes. 

 There is a £10 day charge for the carpark and they are now extremely hot on giving out parking tickets ! It is ofcourse free to park outside on the road so long as there is no racing on.

                 FREE HYPNOBIRTHING CLASSES FOR WEXHAM COUPLES ONLY

If you are booked to deliver at Wexham or at home, then you are entitled to a free HypnoBirthing course whether it is your first or subsequent child. The course involves 12 hours of classes and are instead of the ones described above. There are 2 courses per month and are run on 3 weds evenings and 1 or 2  weekend sessions.                                       BREAST FEEDING DROP-IN CLINIC

It is also worth remembering that at Heatherwood we now run a breast feeding drop in clinic for new Mums on a wednesday from 3-5pm for any mums in the area needing extra help with breast feeding, irrespective of where they gave birth. There is no need to book this.

                                       POST-NATAL SUPPORT COURSE

I have recently set up a Post-natal support group at the South Ascot Childrens centre. This is for new mothers with babies from 2 weeks old and is run as a rolling 6 week course.
