This is held on wednesday eveings 7- 7.45 pm at Woking's Pool in the Park. GU22 9BA Its a class exclusively for pregnant mums ( the lagoon is closed to the rest of the public during the session) and helps them to keep fit and relaxed during pregnancy. You don't even need to be a strong swimmer as all moves are performed within your depth or using buoyancy aids /woggles etc

 

The class includes gentle aerobic and core strengthening exercisess and a chance to float whilst the wave machine is activated. It is suitable for mums with pregnancy pelvic problems eg SPD as the buoyancy of the water can actually improve mobility and reduce pain. We also pay particular attention to pelvic floor exercises and breathing practice for labour.

BUGGYFIT TO DROP RESTARTS AFTER EASTER 2021

 

This outdoor session of group exercise  accompanied by your baby in a buggy is suitable for all levels of fitness from 6 weeks after the birth (10 weeks if it was a C.Section)
We meet on a Wednesday at 11.30 at various locations around the Woking area.

 

I carry equipment such as boxing gloves, skipping ropes, dumbells etc so we can do a sort of mini 'Boot camp' or circuit training. In dry weather we concentrate on abdominal exercises on a picnic rug or park bench.

 

Come prepared to exercise in muddy grass and in rain! You will get hot so layers are essential and make sure baby is dressed appropriately. Its important to drink plenty of water especially if you are also breastfeeding ( you may also want to wear a second bra over a feeding bra for extra support!!)

 

Please message 07878549941to be added to our whatsapp group then you can let us know each week whether you will be coming. We need at least 2 Mums for the session to go ahead. I will need a completed registration form before we set off so either email for one in advance or come early to the first sesson to complete one.

 FIT 2 WALLK'n'TALK from March 2021

These sessions are running in line with current Government Covid Guidelines.

Up to 15 adults and babies are allowed to meet outside to walk and chat together for mutual support. We meet on wednesdays and set a different location each week, attendees book their place on line at either a 12.30 or 14.00 timed 1 hour walk. We start and finish at the same location usually in the vicinity of refreshments and as restrictions lift this could include Pub gardens etc. 

It is open to babies of any age but they do need to stay in a buggy or carrier throughout the session. Walks are held in the same location as the Wednesday Buggyfit 2 Drop so you could stay on for the Walk'n'Talk for free. For everyone else its £2 cash or via paypal.

We continue in all weathers so come prepared though in severe weather there may need to be a last minute cancellation!
