This is held on wednesday eveings 7-7.40pm at Woking's Pool in the Park. GU22 9BA Its a class exclusively for pregnant mums ( the lagoon is closed to the rest of the public during the session) and helps them to keep fit and relaxed during pregnancy. You don't even need to be a strong swimmer as all moves are performed within your depth or using buoyancy aids /woggles etc
The class includes gentle aerobic and core strengthening exercisess and a chance to float whilst the wave machine is activated. It is suitable for mums with pregnancy pelvic problems eg SPD as the buoyancy of the water can actually improve mobility and reduce pain. We also pay particular attention to pelvic floor exercises and breathing practice for labour.

Immediately after the aqua session on weds at 8pm I run a breathing and relaxation session upstairs in the Conference room ( opposite reception) if you are coming to the aqua class then its only £10 for the 2 sessions or £6.50 on its own. Feel free to meet your partner there at no extra cost.
The session starts with refreshments and discussion on topics such as pain relief in labour, looking after yourself after the birth, breastfeeding etc we then do some gentle floor exercises/ labour breathing techniques and finish with a guided meditaton session til 8.45.
This is a method of group exercise outdoors accompanied by your baby in a buggy. Its suitable for all levels of fitness from 6
weeks after the birth ( 10 weeks if it was a C Section)
We'll meet at 12.30pm at my house 2 Nasturtium drive, Bisley,Woking GU24 9SD. There's plenty of off-street parking once you've found me! You can use my toilets, change the baby and fill up water bottles before we set off to exercise in the local area.
I carry equipment such as boxing gloves, skipping ropes, dumbells etc so we can do a sort of mini 'Boot camp' or circuit training. We return to my house to concentrate on abdominal exercises on my living room floor. If baby is awake then their extra weight can add to the core exercises! In poorer weather we would spend more of the session indoors (depending upon numbers)
Come prepared to exercise in muddy grass and in rain! You will get hot so layers are essential especially when we move indoors. Its important to drink plenty of water especially if you are also breastfeeding ( you may also want to wear a second bra over a feeding bra for extra support!!)
Stay on for some refreshments and a chat, and a chance to feed the baby before I run my Baby massage sessions at 1.45. I'm very happy for the 2 to overlap. I will need a completed registration form before we set off so either email for one in advance or come early to the first sesson to complete one.
