This is held on wednesday eveings 7- 7.45 pm at Woking's Pool in the Park. GU22 9BA Its a class exclusively for pregnant mums ( the lagoon is closed to the rest of the public during the session) and helps them to keep fit and relaxed during pregnancy. You don't even need to be a strong swimmer as all moves are performed within your depth or using buoyancy aids /woggles etc
The class includes gentle aerobic and core strengthening exercisess and a chance to float whilst the wave machine is activated. It is suitable for mums with pregnancy pelvic problems eg SPD as the buoyancy of the water can actually improve mobility and reduce pain. We also pay particular attention to pelvic floor exercises and breathing practice for labour.
